The RFS has confirmed the blaze impacting the Golden Highway near Hollydeen is under control which means the fire is at a stage where fire fighting resources are only required for patrol purposes and major re-ignition is unlikely.
The Golden Highway is also open.
Two other fires that broke out in today’s hot conditions – Dalwood Road at Leconfield (Branxton) and Myall Creek Road, Glendonbrook – are also under control.
The alert level remains at advice for all three fires.
Fire fighting personnel will be patrolling the fires during the night.

A FAST moving grass fire is currently impacting the Golden Highway at Hollydeen.
Multiple units from the NSW Rural Fire Service - Hunter Valley are on scene, as well as water-bombing aircraft.
NSW Police Force has closed the Golden Highway in both directions, between Denman and Sandy Hollow, due to heavy smoke.
Further information will be posted when available.
Residents should follow advice from emergency services personnel on scene.
A fire is also currently burning near Mirannie at Glendon Brook.
The fire is currently six hectares in size.
