It’s all happening this Saturday on March 17 at Townhead park. Entry is free, all ages are welcome, and it starts at 10am. Event schedule:
- 11.00am: Rural Fire Service fire demonstration;
- 11.30am: Mascot race;
- 12.00pm: SES flood demonstration ;
- 12.30pm: Car crash scenario which brings together NSW Police, NSW Ambulance and NSW Fire and Rescue.
Mines rescue will also have a virtual reality system set up to allow community members to participate in a simulated emergency situations. While the Salvation Army will have food for sale from their catering truck, and there are loads of fun activities for the children planned.
