At Firelight, event-goers will encounter drool-worthy eats from food trucks, and wine and craft beer from local wineries and breweries. All that’s left will be to take a seat at one of the communal tables to enjoy the twinkle of lights overhead and the trendy country-rock beats of the Viper Creek band and the fiery mix of dance and theatrical tricks from the Utopian Fire dancers.
Singleton Council’s General Manager, Jason Linnane, said final preparations were underway for the inaugural festival dedicated to the region’s food and wine.
“The countdown is now on for Firelight, and Council is very excited to deliver a new event that supports and cultivates the very things that make the Singleton local government area a gastronomic playground,” he said.
“We are extremely lucky to live in a region surrounded by fresh seasonal produce, award-winning wineries and passionate artisan producers on our doorstep.
“It’s important to bring people together and to celebrate the season in a communal way – I encourage everyone to come out for something new in Singleton.”
Singleton Firelight Festival will heat up from 6pm to 10pm, April 14
