Returning from Friday, April 27 to Sunday, April 29, the 13th annual Gum Ball festival is loaded with incredible Australian and international bands. Friday night’s line-up will build to an epic crescendo, with UK superstars The Cribs, The Bamboos and hip-hop Butterfingers sure to make this evening at Dashville one to remember.
Saturday’s line-up is as mammoth, with music running from 8am until midnight.
The day’s musical roster includes troubadour Ben Salter, Hat Fitz & Cara, Screamfeeder, Dave Graney & The Coral Snakes, psych-rockers Rocket Science, Ed Kuepper and his all-star band The Aints (playing the early Saints classics) and rising hip hop artist REMI to bring a close to Gumball 2018.
The announcement of the full timetable also sees the addition of some more musical talent. Americana songstress Ruby Gilbert, SoCal-inspired folk rocker Magpie Diaries and French-Canadian punk rockers The Squirts.
The broader entertainment and children’s program is also announced today.
At this year’s Gum Ball young music lovers will get to partake in free belly dancing, reptile show and puppet-making workshops, as well as hone their skills at the Circus Workstent alongside real-life circus performers.
