Fire crews from Singleton and Branxton extinguish Kennedy Street house fire on Saturday night

Emergency services were called to a house fire that extensively damaged a Kennedy Street dwelling on Saturday night.  Fire crews from Singleton and Branxton attended the scene at about 9:46pm. They observed flames coming from “around the air-conditioning unit on the eastern wall of the main bedroom” and proceeded to extinguish the blaze. The four bedroom home was vacant and unsecured at the time of the incident and is owned by Housing NSW. Further inquires are being conducted.
