Singleton Sportspower Monday Night competition:
- In division one Paul Brown and Bill Baxter won their three sets 6/2, 6/2, 6/5, with Gary Brenton and John losing 2 of their 3 sets in tiebreaks;
- Travis Emmett and Patrick Bagley, were the only players in division two to win all their sets.
Thursday Night Competition:
- A three set win for Mark Rix and Kate Perrin getting 6/4, 7/6, 6/4 to get Mark a little closer to the leader Lachlan Maher who managed 16 games.
Congratulations to the thee winners of our members draw Kate Perrin, Dean Mathews and John Cox who won double tickets to the Singleton Long Lunch.
Hunter Tennis Academy
Coaching for Kids. The Hot Shots program is for kids starting as young as 3yrs, we run these classes Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9.10am @$13.50 per session along with afternoon Hot Shot programs Tuesday and Wednesdays from 3.30pm. It is a safe and fun program that uses modified equipment and sets kids up for success and is well attended. Classes for teenagers and advanced hot shot kids are also catered for in our Future Pro lessons that include “visual” learning with video analysis, these classes run everyday of the week 4pm and 5pm sessions. Social tennis is played on Monday and Friday mornings from 8am, on Saturday afternoons 1pm, Tuesday ladies at 9am and now Thursday nights at 7pm. All members and visitors welcome to come along and enjoy themselves. Enquiries to Craig on 0417 265 066.
Thursday Night Social:
With all players turning up for night competition we managed eight players turning up for Social, getting four sets of tennis in. Good to see Dave and Leanne Lennard coming along after an absence from tennis. Anyone interested come along at 7pm or phone Craig 0417 265 066.
A good roll up of eight players kept two courts in use all afternoon with some fun tennis. Social tennis is played every Saturday afternoon with play starting at 1:00pm and all players and visitors are welcome.
