And, last Tuesday they were excited to welcome a program ambassador to their school – Abbey McCulloch.
The former NSW Swifts team captain – who has stepped away from Super Netball in 2019 to rehabilitate her a knee – paid a visit to the small school.
“She is an inspiring role model and happily answered many questions about her career and involved students from K-6 in some fun fitness activities and games,” says teacher, Carolyn Gray.
Ms Gray says the PSC encourages students to become more active by setting goals and then recording their levels of physical activity over a 10-week period.
“Staff members are also encouraged to participate to promote a healthy lifestyle and be positive role models,” she explains.
“The aim of the PSC is to get more students, more active, more often.”
