So, put the date – Thursday, October 11 – in your diary now and tell your friends.
The free exclusive gallery viewing is coordinated by the Two More Trains for Singleton group to highlight the benefits of more frequent train services in the region.
The exhibition costs nothing to view – all you need is an Opal card.
“The exhibition, The Locals – 60 years Collecting Upper Hunter, features all local artists,” Two More Trains for Singleton’s Martin Fallding said.
“Curator Elissa Emerson showcases the breadth and diversity of artistic expression that the Upper Hunter region has given to the arts in Australia.
“See the Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre webpage for details of the exhibition.”
The train departs Singleton at 5.34 pm on Thursday, October 11, arriving at Muswellbrook Station at 6.04pm.
The return trip leaves Muswellbrook at 7.24pm, arriving at Singleton at 7.55pm.
The train leaves earlier from Hamilton, Maitland and other Hunter Line stations.
“Please tell your friends and family,” Mr Fallding said.
“Also, note that this date is during the school holidays so children are encouraged to come.”
