KSPS take an educational trip out of town

Year five students from King Street Public School had an educational school outing last Tuesday to one of the biggest work places in the district, Mt Owen.

The purpose of the excursion is to provide an educational opportunity for the Upper Hunter community about the coal industry through giving students and their teachers a unique opportunity to see mining operations close up accompanied by factual and unbiased information.
