Singleton High School welcomed distinguished guests from across the region to join students for the school's Remembrance Day service on Friday morning.

Sergeant Ashley Moran (Singleton Infantry Centre) was on hand to present the Long Tan leadership and team work awards to Chloe Black (Year 10) and Hannah Dennis (Year 12).
"Chloe has been a student who has worked tirelessly behind the scenes in such events as Tommy's Day, beanies for Brain Cancer and Flannos for Farmers, just to name a few," Sergeant Moran announced.
"She has been a positive influence who puts forward ideas and solutions to enhance the school environment.
"Hannah is a strong team player whose contribution and leadership skills are highly regarded.
"She has also applied herself with diligence and enthusiasm to her studies throughout her High School Certificate."
Guests presenters Mr Lindsay Noble and his daughter Ms Cheryl Brock, well known for the leading the horse procession each ANZAC Day, then showcased the equipment used by Lighthorse soldiers.
The sacred ceremony drew to a close with the playing of the last post by student Zach Bray, reading of "The Ode to the Fallen" by incoming school captain Bowen Flockhart and Australian National Anthem sung by Lucy Merrick.
The morning also marked the 23rd and final ceremony organised by former student and staff member Mr Nigel Cox.
