Under the advise of The Uniting Church of Australia all church services and gatherings have been cancelled until further notice.
As Paul long ago advice, "whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family and faith" (Gal 6:10). Our commitment to the common good mandates that we proceed in this direction.

SACRED SPACES EVENTS
Due to the changing situation of the Covid-19 outbreak, we at Sacred Spaces at the Sisters of Mercy Convent, Singleton have made the decision to cancel all bookings until the end of April. This means that Collectables in the Convent (5 April) is cancelled. We will be in contact with everyone who booked in for an appraisal.
At this stage we have NOT cancelled any of our concerts, events or bookings from May onwards, but of course will monitor the situation and let you know if we need to.
Caring for the vulnerable is an important part of our role here at Sacred Spaces and with this in mind, we decided to cancel all bookings to ensure the health and wellbeing of our visitors, clients and community.
We will still be here working in the office behind the scenes and can be contacted by phone, email or Facebook if you have any queries.
We urge everyone to stay safe and look after others in our community.
ANZAC DAY 2020
Due to decisions made at RSL NSW and in the best interest of our aging veterans, the Singleton RSL Sub Branch has been forced to cancel All Anzac Day services & Marches.
The Anzac Day luncheon at Singleton Diggers club has also needed to be cancelled & any persons currently holding a ticket will be refunded.
We apologize for the need to make these decisions, but in the current climate, we feel the health of our veterans & the greater community must be our main concern.
SINGLETON MENS SHED
The Singleton Mens Shed will be closed until April 20 or until further notice, due to the highly infection nature of the current COVID19 Virus.
This precaution has been authorised by our Shed executive as advised by Hunter Health to protect the health and well being of our members and their families.
To all of our shed members, stay healthy, activate personal hygiene and see you in April.
EMERGENCY SERVICES EXPO POSTPONED
In accordance with advice from the Federal and State governments and health authorities, the Singleton Emergency Services event that was to be held later this month has been postponed until further notice.
The decision was made with the health and safety of the community as Council's top priority and Council would like to acknowledge the support of all event stakeholders in this decision.
An updated event date is yet to be determined and will be posted to Council's social media channels and website when known.
SMOKE IN BROKE
Smoke in Broke has been postponed until further notice.
Smoke in Broke is run by small business owners Randi and Robert Thraves of Smokin Hot 'N Saucy. If you need a BBQ fix or meal, please consider supporting our small business in hopes that one day we can meet up in the Broke Park and celebrate BBQ together again.
