On Friday at approximately 7:45pm Singleton Fire & Rescue station, Hunter Valley police and Singleton Ambulance were responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident involving a tree on a car. The area was investigated and nothing was found.

Singleton Fire & Rescue was then tasked to assist Singleton State Emergency Service (SES) unit with cleaning up storm debris on the road way. Fire & Rescue firefighters also assisted with two power line down incidents in Queen street and Patrick streets.
Emergency services would like to remind drivers to please slow down to a safe speed while passing stationary Emergency and recovery vehicles displaying flashing lights.
