Just before midday today the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by Ambulance New South Wales to a rural property at Stanhope, east of Singleton to reports of a 50 year old female suffering serious injuries after being trampled post falling from a horse. It was reported that the female was suffering serious back injuries.

Local Ambulance Paramedic attended the property and commenced treatment of the female prior to the arrival of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and Critical Care Medical Team. The Critical Care Medical Team assisted in treatment of the female prior to being stabilised and flown direct to the John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle in a stable condition suffering back and chest injuries.
