Open to the public for people to come and see what is on show, with the new roof in the back room providing so much light it reveals what is contained on the display area - so much of the the district's history is contained within the facility.
The Museum is open Tuesday 10am to 1pm , Saturday and Sunday 12noon to 4pm both days.
The volunteers who man the museum and care for the displays and the the artefacts would love people to come and bring the children have picnic in park see the museum and the children can ride on the tractors out the front.
Singleton Historical Society was formed more than 50 years ago in November 1960. The Society serves the community through operating, maintaining and supporting historical research.
Last year the museum building underwent a major refurbishment including the installation of a new roof. The Historical Society will be holding their AGM on February 16.
