A huge crowd of over 80 people visited the centre for a great social afternoon.
Entertainment on the day was the Norma Ryan Tap Dancers and the Singleton Line Dancers who had many fun routines to keep everyone laughing.
The official guest list also included Federal member for Hunter Joel Fitzgibbon, former Singleton mayor Neil McNamara and current mayor John Martin and his wife Jan.
Also joining them was life member Athol Hipwell and wife Thelma who have supported the centre since it’s inception.
Singleton High School catered for the event while Michael McLuand provided the Plum Pudding and Lorna Stewart kindly donated a beautiful Christmas cake and Val Trees has iced the cake.
The Senior Citizens Centre will once again be a place of joy on Christmas day for the eighth Samaritans Christmas celebrations and they’re inviting anyone who wishes to spend Christmas Day with them to come along and join in the festivities.
The doors will open at 11am and transport can be arranged by telephoning Jacki on 6573 2515. RSVP not necessary just come along.
