The NSW equestrian team showcased their quality riding skills and placed first at the Godolphin 2016 Australian Interschool Championships on September 25 to 29. The team won the Harry le Bherz Perpetual Trophy awarded to the State with the highest score across all sports at the championships. The event was held at Horsley Park in Sydney, with the competition attracting a record field of 390 school-aged equestrians all of whom qualified through their respective state and territory championships. Equestrian NSW’s CEO Bruce Farrar, said the championships are the pinnacle in showcasing the talent of young equestrian riders from around Australia.
