Thanks to a collaboration with Singleton Woolworths, students had the opportunity to indulge in a healthy treat before starting their school day.
For St. Catherine’s teacher, Alicia Jenkins focussing on improving and maintaining the students’ well-being is important now more than ever.
“If our students have good well-being, then we will have good learning within our classrooms,” she says.
So it seems to be a win-win for both the students and the teachers, and Singleton Woolworths representatives, Alana Thompson and James Harragon say they are happy to help out.
“The local store is happy to provide fresh fruit for the school kids,” James says.
“We work with a range of local schools and organisations, and are happy to collaborate with St. Caths for the first time.”
‘Wellbeing Week’ will include musical performances, well-being workshops and focus on reducing stress both at school and at home.
