However, their latest destination was the historic Singleton home Lonsdale which is located on Dangar Road.
This comes after both Vivien Dwyer and Joy Patton shared their experience of living there with his current crop of history buffs during a session in February.
Mrs Dwyer and her husband, John, are the current owners, whereas Mrs Patton grew up in the house.
And, to follow up the presentation Vivien and John graciously opened up their home to the class on Wednesday, March 21.
After the tour Mr Quinn presented the couple with a certificate of appreciation and the Red Cross provided a lovely morning tea.
