Labour shortages

IT has been a year since coronavirus revealed the true extent of the rural labour workforce shortage. As NSW winter grain harvest approaches and horticulture's peak picking season, farming groups are increasingly concerned not enough. NSW Farmers president James Jackson said, based on feedback from the association's members, labour shortages for the upcoming grain harvest and picking season was the number one concern.
