
THIS Sunday, April 25, the Upper Hunter community will gather to participate in several Anzac Day commemorative services. Here's where you can pay your respects across the region:
SINGLETON
An Anzac Day dawn service will be at the Lone Pine Barracks, Range Road, Singleton. Main gate opens at 4.30am and the dawn service commences at 5.30am. There will be a smaller dawn service at 5am for 5.30am start at Burdekin Park. The public are encouraged to attend the service at the army base witch is free entry.
The march will step off at 10am from Ryan Avenue and march up Hunter street to the park. The main service held in Burdekin Park will be at 10.30 for 11am start. PUTTY
Putty's Anzac Day Service will be held at the Putty Hall starting at 10am. Please arrive at Putty Hall in time to be seated before the commencement. This will be followed by morning tea.
BULGA
The Bulga Milbrodale Progress Association is hosting an Anzac Day service at 11am on Sunday at the Bulga Recreation Ground. Light refreshments including tea and coffee will be provided. These will be limited because of COVID-19 awareness and restrictions.
BROKE
A dawn service will be held at 5.45am at the Broke War Memorial. The main service will be held at 10am at the Broke War Memorial.

SCONE
A dawn service will be held at the Scone War Memorial Swimming Pool at 5.30am for a 6am start. The commemoration service will also be held at the Scone War Memorial Swimming Pool at 11am, followed by a march along Guernsey Street to the Scone RSL Club following conclusion of service.
GUNDY
An Anzac Day service will be held at the Soldiers Memorial Hall in Gundy. The march will take place at 8.45am from the Linga Longa Inn and the main service will be held at 9am. A bus will leave Scone RSL Club at 8am. Contact 0409 153 809 for bookings
MERRIWA
A dawn service will be held at the Merriwa Cenotaph at 5.30am, followed by an Anzac Day march at 10.30am and the main service at 10.45am at the Cenotaph.
CASSILIS
A march will commence at 10.45am from the corner of Branksome and Ancrum Street, followed by an 11am Anzac Day service at the Memorial Park Gates and lunch and refreshments at the Cassilis Bowling Club.

ABERDEEN
Aberdeen will host a dawn service only at the Aberdeen RSL Club memorial on Moray Street from 6am.
MURRURUNDI
The Murrurundi community will gather for a dawn service at 6am at the Memorial Gates at the Murrurundi Bowling Club. This will be followed by a remembrance service at 11am at the Memorial Gates and finish with a luncheon at the Murrurundi Bowling Club at 12.30pm.
MUSWELLBROOK
A dawn service will be held at Muswellbrook's Olympic Park at 5am for a 6am start. This will be followed by an Anzac Day march and commemorative service at Olympic Park. The march to Olympic Park begins at 10am. Participants marching will form up in Market Street near the fire station. March participants will include personnel from the Royal Australian Air Force Williamstown, Royal Australian Navy and 12th/16th Hunter River Lancers.
